Course Duration: 40 Hours

To increase the Trainee's understanding of and the ability to perform more complex sheet metal repairs.

Upon completion, the Trainee will have demonstrated the hands-on ability to perform complex sheet metal repairs to damaged stringers and fuselage skins.

  1. General Safety Policies and Practices
  2. Toolbox SRM Workshops
  3. Structural Repair Manual - Repair Procedures
  4. Southwest Airlines Repair Procedures
  5. Repair Task Card/Repair 31 to -300/-500 Fuselage Training Aide
  6. Repair Project - Fuselage/Stringer Repair
    1. Initial damage assessment
    2. Remove damage skin and stringer
    3. Fabricate stringer and patch materials
    4. Install stringer and patch materials
